Today I played 1979 Revolution: Black Friday. Generally speaking, it wasn't the experience I expected. The gameplay is sacrificed in favor of telling a story, which is not so compelling even on its own.

Although the game manages to show some of the aspects of Iranian culture and history very nicely, it fails to engage the player in some series of relevant gameplay activities, and turn the "representation of a historical event" into an interactive and fun experience. Overall, I think it was more like a mini-plot movie, rather than a game.
