“In a world engulfed in perpetual flames of war, in a plight that even Gods pay no decent heed to, some were crazy enough to seek The Path of enlightenment. A path with no certain payoff nor promised salvation, yet sought out by those so exasperated who hoped for nothing, but escaping this malevolent reality. However, soon enough, they will be called out by Fatumus [The God of Destiny]… Do you, too, have what it takes to answer the call?

Are you crazy enough to walk the path?”

It is early sixth millennium in the distant future. Living organisms now reside in a different universe; Miliaverse is what they call it. Humans have evolved into creatures called Homomutants: semi-human, semi-cyborg beings, highly developed with biotechnological advancements. They take pride in the way they live now, compared to that of their ancestors in the past millennia. They have taken humanity to the next level, both physically and psychologically. Such advancements have even bestowed them the power to partially control and manipulate the very fabric of the universe. Now, they can concern themselves with new sciences and even spiritual concepts whose notions they once could not even mentally grasp.

However, they are not alone in this world; particularly not the only ones who seek to explore and exploit the bottomless ocean of the mysteries of Miliaverse. We are talking about the once-mysterious beings from the endless space. Those who used to spark awe, fear, curiosity, and uncanny, among other feelings, in the humans of the past who imagined them. You have probably guessed it by now: We are talking about Aliens. Although recently contested by Homomutants, Aliens are still considered a very advanced and powerful species. They have their own unique and mysterious ways of dealing with the problems of the world, one of which to be Homomutants, a battle that can only have one prevailing side.

The arch rivalry between Homomutants and Aliens is rather a recent phenomenon in the history of the world, for it was Aliens who were invariably unmatched through the millennia, before humans turned the tide. It all began with the striking invention of Brain Chips in the long-forgotten history of humans. With it, came all the physical developments of the human body and brain. However, humans never stopped wanting more, manipulating their reality in one way or another. Their next world-changing invention was called the splendid Time Machine. It enabled them to travel through time, mostly to the future, and soon enough without foreseeing it, they sparked the turning point in the history of humans, and the universe. Gods were in difficult dispute about whether or not they need to interfere with the works of humans. Among them, Peregrinus [The God of Mystery] believed that humans must be punished for their malicious adventures, while Vivus [The God of the Living] was of an opposite judgment, committed to protecting humans. Soon, the argument began to become too heated, creating an unholy discord in the essence of the universe. It was then, that Iracundinus [The God of Wrath], enraged by the discord, triggered a widespread horrendous war. A war that changed the shape of the universe forever, fracturing its essence into a thousand pieces, creating Miliaverse; a war that lasted for millennia, now widely known as The Clash of Gods.

Now, even after thousands of years, the Gods cease to bring order into the universe again, their war producing nothing but calamity and scourge upon the world and its habitants. Still, Fatumus [The God of Destiny], of all other Gods, was the one who did not forget Lesser Beings amidst the chaos. Through his artisanship, he created a specific gateway within a new dimension, ordained only for those who were wise enough to seek it. He called it The Path of Enlightenment: the only road to liberation for all living beings, until the end of their days.

Neurobots: Originally created by humans during their most flourishing ages of technological advancement, Neurobots are now considered a separate species of their own. However, things were not always the same for them, as they were once of a lesser race, servants of humans, being called A.I. minions by them. Over time, the biotechnological and neurological breakthroughs of humans enriched their functionalities to the point that helped them shape their own notions and understanding of reality. They were no A.I. robots anymore; they had become Neurobots. Soon, they waged war against their masters, a lengthy war with much bloodshed that resulted in their declaration of independence. Now, they are one of the most powerful and dangerous races of the whole Miliaverse, with one tiny, fundamental flaw: They can be hacked! This consequently creates an opportunity, as perilous as it might sound, yet so tempting that makes the other two races want to control and abuse Neurobots, more than any other faction or race across the Miliaverse, to get an edge over their rival.

Title of the Game: Fabricor

Genre: Action MMORPG, Competitive, Third-Person, Sci-Fi, Fantasy

Major Races: Homomutants, Aliens, Neurobots

Minor Factions: Multiple different races and factions across the Miliaverse

Gameplay: The players can choose between two different races: Homomutants and Aliens. The purpose of all the players is to seek The Path of Enlightenment. To do so, each race needs to first design and create a device (a machine for Homomutants, a portal for Aliens) that would help them enter the new dimension created by Fatumus. To build the device, they need to find and master all the world knowledge that would contribute to designing a blueprint for it. After designing the blueprint and finally building the device, they need to empower it by feeding all the fractured pieces of essence that were scattered throughout the whole universe with the beginning of The Clash of Gods. The first race to find all the pieces would be graced by The Blessing of Fatumus. Only then, the one player from the blessed race who has contributed the most to the blessing of his/her race would be able to walk The Path of Enlightenment, and become liberated. After that, the whole scenario will be repeated in a cyclical manner.

Expansion Idea: The players who become liberated, and enter the new dimension, will be given a new questline to join the realm of Gods. If they succeed, their character will permanently become one of the many Gods of the game world. Then, they will have the choice to start the game from the beginning, playing as a new character who has a unique visual representation of their old God-character.

Tutorial (onboarding): New players will start the game in a different timeline and universe (in the past millennia) based on their chosen race. For instance, Homomutant players will start the game as past humans who were trying to invent the Time Machine. The whole questline to design and invent the Time Machine will be the tutorial of the game for Homomutant players, familiarizing them a bit with the history and the lore of their race, as well as the mechanics of the game. After that, they will join the other players, moving to the current timeline and universe using the same Time Machine they have invented. A similar process will exist for Alien players, except that they need to create a different device that corresponds to their race and its history.
